Genealogy for All: Researching Your Roots: Genealogical Research 201

This is part of the lecture series sponsored and developed by the PGC250 Committee, a grass roots civic initiative of several community and cultural organizations created to respond to the timely opportunity for Marylanders to explore authentic American history during the U.S. Semiquincentennial (2026). This third event in the series is led by Nathania Branch Miles, Recording Secretary, Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, inc., Prince George's County Maryland Chapter.  She will focus on approaches to conducting Black genealogy including, but not limited to, records of the enslaved, Black-led newspapers, and other resources.
