Transforming Your Research Into a Written Product

Have you been thinking of compiling your research into a document to share with family?  This talk may inspire you to actually sit down and do it.  Natonne Elaine Kemp will cover preparing family trees and histories for a family reunion, writing an article to submit to historical or genealogical society and writing a book.  Join us in person (and take home a free book or two!) at our library in Bowie (see above).  There will be a virtual option for our more distant members; a link will be sent before the meeting.  Either way, we look forward to seeing you then.  Note:  the talk will not be about the pictured book!

In 2019, Natonne became the sole operator of the publishing company, Rocky Pond Press, which published its second title, Virtue of Cain: From Slave to Senator-Biography of Lawrence Cain, a remarkable story about a prominent Black Republican during Reconstruction from Edgefield, South Carolina.
