Weaving Together Maps, Censuses & County Histories to Bring Your Ancestors to Life

Sharon Cook MacInnes, who most recently spoke to us about AI and genealogy, will speak on "Weaving Together Maps, Censuses & County Histories to Bring Your Ancestors to Life."  Sharon says "I find that too few people understand the value of maps so this presentation shows how I use different types of maps: 19th-century maps and atlases showing land owners, census maps, BLM maps, real estate maps, and combining Newberry Historical Atlas of County Boundaries with Google Earth."

Members will receive the meeting link via email a few days before the event.  Non-members may request an invitation by emailing president@pgcgs.org no later than noon the day before (March 3).
