"Genealogy in the Age of AI: Smarter, Faster, Deeper"  (Monthly Meetings)
7:00 pm
Virtual meeting
Join us via Zoom on April 2 at 7 PM EST for ""Genealogy in the Age of AI: Smarter, Faster, Deeper."  Sharon Cook MacGinnes will demonstrate Artificial Intelligence as used by FamilySearch, plus how AI can transcribe a newspaper article, summarize a will or an article, suggest resources for specific research brick walls, and help make your writing more engaging. The focus will be on how to create prompts that will give the best responses.  There will be examples from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and Gemini.

Sharon Cook MacGinnes has been doing genealogy since 1976 and has enlivened her research by uncovering many details about her interesting ancestors, some through land records.  She has acquired the right to improve accessibility and publish early land records in Pannsylvania, including areas that were once part of Virginia.  Visit her website HERE

Members will receive a link to the meeting by April 1.  Interested guests may request an invitation by emailing president@pgcgs.org no later than noon on April 1.
